Premium primary tufting cloth
This premium primary tufting cloth is designed for creating Cut Pile and Loop Pile pieces with your tufting gun.
Made from 100% polyester with a weight of 260 g/m², it provides stable support while tufting and is particularly suitable for large pieces and dense tufting.
Available in white or gray, it also features marking guides every 50 cm to help you position and stretch your cloth on the frame.
Benefits of premium primary tufting cloth
Premium cloth is particularly useful when working on a large frame or on a piece with many tufted areas. Its structure provides stable support for working on your design and creating dense tufting.
Unlike our yellow-line cloth, it does not have a close-set grid of guides. However, its guides spaced 50 cm apart can help you position and stretch your cloth on the frame. You can then draw your design directly onto the cloth or transfer it using your usual method.
Premium cloth is compatible with Cut Pile and Loop Pile and can be used with our various AK tufting guns.

Learning and visual guidance |
Premium cloth is a good choice if you are looking for cloth for working on large pieces or creating dense tufting, without needing close-set guide lines.
Yellow-line cloth is useful if you prefer more visual guides for stretching your cloth, positioning your design, and finding your way while tufting.
Stretching the primary tufting cloth on the frame
Good cloth tension is important for working properly with your tufting gun.
Gradually attach the cloth to the grippers on your frame, distributing the tension across all sides. The cloth should be taut and remain stable when you apply pressure with your tufting gun.
While working on your piece, check the tension regularly and retighten the cloth on the grippers if needed.
