Why are outlet products cheaper?

These items come from previous production batches, end-of-line stock, or past collections. They are new and have never been used: the reduced price is solely due to stock turnover, not a defect. It's the same material as the products in our store, at a clearance price.

Is the quality the same as the products in the current collection?

Yes, the composition and weight are the same. The only difference is possible variations in shade, finish, or packaging from one cone to another, due to differences between production batches. These variations are invisible in most projects, but noticeable in a solid block of color.

Can I mix an outlet cone with a cone from the current collection?

It's possible, but not recommended within the same solid-color area: differences between dye lots can create a visible line. However, it's no problem for separate areas of the same rug, gradients, or multicolored projects.

How can I make sure the color is even throughout my entire project?

Order all the cones in the same color at once so they come from the same batch. Allow for 15 to 20% more than your estimate, as restocking the same shade later is not guaranteed for clearance items.

Are outlet items restocked?

No, as a general rule. Quantities are limited to remaining stock, and once an item sells out, it does not return to this collection. If you're interested in a yarn for an upcoming project, it's best to order it without delay. Yarns from the permanent collection remain continuously available.

Can I return or exchange an item purchased at the outlet?

Yes. Clearance items are subject to the same terms as the rest of the store: a 14-day right of withdrawal and the statutory warranties applicable to new products. Details are provided in our terms of sale.
