Spring Balancer for Tufting Guns

The spring balancer for tufting, also called a spring balancer, helps offset some of the weight of your tufting gun while you use it.

Installed above your workspace, its retractable cable follows the machine’s movements in front of the frame. This lets you move freely while bearing less of the tufting gun’s weight directly.

It is especially useful for long sessions and large-format projects.

Why use a balancer for a tufting gun?

A tufting gun can become uncomfortable to hold when you work for a long time.

Its spring system applies tension to the machine to offset some of its weight. You can adjust the tension to suit your tufting gun and working preferences.

The goal is not to hold the machine completely in place for you, but to find a balance that allows natural movement in front of the frame while improving your comfort.

Installation tips

Installation is quick and easy. Simply attach a sturdy hook to the ceiling, hang the spring balancer, and then attach your tufting gun to it. You can adjust the spring tension to find the perfect balance and make your machine easier to handle.

Important: The ceiling mounting hardware is not included. We recommend using sturdy hooks suitable for your mounting surface.
