What is a non-slip backing fabric?
This non-slip secondary fabric is a finishing fabric that is positioned on the back of your tufted projects. Also called backing fabric, it is perfect to use for rugs and creations that are placed on the floor. Made from recycled polyester fibers, it guarantees a professional finish, while optimally protecting your work.
Why is non-slip secondary fabric essential?
Thanks to the silicone dots scattered over its entire surface, our backing fabric has an anti-slip action. With each passage, your carpet stays in place. As a result, the thread deteriorates less quickly and offers more safety. Easy to cut, it sticks easily and quickly to the back of your tufted work.

Can the backing fabric be used for projects other than rugs?
Yes, although primarily designed for rugs, this non-slip secondary fabric is also ideal for other types of creations, such as wall decorations, tufted mirrors.
Is this fabric water resistant or waterproof?
The backing fabric is water-resistant, meaning it can handle splashes or wet cleaning without getting damaged. However, it is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or used in conditions where it would be constantly wet.
