Want to effectively reinforce the edges of your tufted rugs? Opt for cotton twill finishing ribbons. By preventing the corners of your creations from fraying, they will permanently extend their lifespan.
Compatible with finishing fabrics basic and premium quality, they are easy to fix, for a professional and neat rendering.
What is the composition of the finishing tape?
Made from 100% cotton twill, this tufting finishing ribbon is available in two different patterns and colors: black and white. You'll also have a choice of several thicknesses.
NB: Cotton twill ribbon for tufted projects is sold by the meter. When ordering, enter 1 for 1 meter, 2 for 2 meters, etc.

Why use a finishing ribbon for tufting?
Finishing tape protects the edges of your rugs by preventing them from fraying. It is positioned on the back, on the finishing fabric, and ensures a clean and professional finish.
How to attach tufting finishing tape to a rug?
Use a glue gun to secure the ribbon. Apply glue to the edges of the finishing fabric, then place the ribbon, pressing firmly for a good adhesion.
What dimensions should I choose for a tufting finishing ribbon?
Each unit corresponds to 1 meter of ribbon.
For example, for a carpet measuring 1 square meter , we advise you to order 4 meters in order to cover all the edges without difficulty.
Can this finishing tape be used with any type of fabric?
Yes, it is compatible with all fabrics with unlocked edges, including basic or premium finished fabrics.
What is the difference between light tape and dark tape?
The only difference between these two ribbons is aesthetic. The choice depends on the color of your finishing fabric and the desired visual effect.
