What is a secondary tufting fabric used for?
Also called backing fabric, the secondary fabric for tufting is used to protect the back of your tufted creations, unlike the primary fabric . It is the most popular finishing fabric on the market. Made from a blend of durable cotton and polyester, it provides optimal protection for your project without ever weighing it down. Is the secondary fabric for tufting easy to attach?
This finishing fabric attaches easily and quickly to the back of your tufted work. To do this, use spray glue. In no time your backing fabric is correctly placed. Note that you will need an optimal drying time of between 7 hours and 12 hours.
