Why use grippers in tufting?
Tufting grippers are sturdy wooden bars covered with nails. Their purpose: to tighten, by firmly holding the tufting fabric on the wooden tufting frame. This will allow you to tuft in the best possible conditions. In fact, insufficiently tightened fabric will not allow you to obtain a quality result.
How to effectively stretch tufting fabric?
The grippers are quick and easy to install. It only takes a few minutes to nail them to the frame. Measuring 60 cm, they come in two different widths: 2.5 cm and 3 cm. Do you want them shorter? Use a hand saw to customize them to the desired dimensions.
